CA Systems Hosts First Heidelberg Service School

On May 28th & May 29th, CA Systems held it's first service school specifically "engineered" for Heidelberg technicians. During those two days, instructor Tom Jones lectured on film and polyester plate processing, processor mechanics and the new Celis electronics.

Students were trained in the classroom and in the lab on an EG 901/Primesetter 74 and a 6 bath Combi processor for the Primesetter 102. The school covered all aspects of processor installation and maintenance, including software upgrades and a troubleshooting exam.

The first four students from Heidelberg to attend Carnfeldt's school were:
Neil James - Toronto
Dennis Freund - Calgary
Enzo Rossi - Montreal
Rick Wilson - Toronto

Additional service schools for Heidelberg technicians can be scheduled at the Carnfeldt facility in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin upon request. Fort Atkinson is located 2 hours from Chicago-O'Hare, 1 hour from Milwaukee and 30 minutes from Madison.
