HEIDELBERG USA & KODAK POLYCHROME JOIN-UP WITH CARNELDT

CA Systems is excited to announce the addition of two more partners to Team Carnfeldt. Heidelberg U.S.A. has added the Carnfeldt on-line Primesetter processors to their product line with the introduction of the Primesetter imagers at the Drupa exhibition. Product development and testing of the new processors has been proceeding for over a year at the Heidelberg facities in Kiel, Germany. This past spring, Carnfeldt processors have been installed and tested at all four of the Heidelberg U.S.A. demonstration and testing facilities in the United States.

CA Systems is dedicated to providing Heidelberg customers the same high level of quality products and support that they currently enjoy from Heidelberg and expect from CA Systems. CA Systems has been manufacturing on-line processors for Heidelberg & Linotype-Hell imagers since 1988 in conjunction with Heidelberg's corporate offices in Germany. The North American introduction of the on-line Primesetter processors includes the following models:

EG 900 for film
EG 901 for film
EGP 901 Combi for film and polyester plates

Primesetter 102
EG 1140 for polyester plates
EG 1141 for film
EGP 1141 Combi for film and polyester plates coming soon

Also, this past spring, CA Systems was pleased to welcome Kodak Polychrome Graphics to Team Carnfeldt. A longtime partner with Eastman Kodak's Printing, Publishing & Imaging department, April 2000 marked the first official introduction of Carnfeldt processors into the Kodak Polychrome Graphics product catalogue. Well known for their performance with KPG's RA 2000 and Gen 5 products, due to their deep tanks, powerful circulation, and unique rack designs, KPG customer can now order Carnfeldt processors direct from their KPG offices.
